Orders & Pre-Ordering

What does print-to-order mean?

Print-To-Order applies to our Default Edition, which means your item is made specifically for you once you place the order. We do not hold excess stock. This allows us to reduce waste, choose better materials and produce at a more considered pace.

When will my order be made and shipped?

Each product page shows an estimated dispatch window. Once the pre-order period ends, production begins. You’ll receive updates by email as your order moves through printing and dispatch.

Do I pay upfront for pre-orders?

Yes. Payment is taken at checkout to secure your place in the production run. This allows us to produce only what’s been ordered and avoid unnecessary stock.

Can I cancel or change a pre-order?

Pre-orders can be amended or cancelled before production begins. Once an item enters production, changes may no longer be possible. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible.

Returns & Delivery

How long do I have to return an item?

You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition.

Can I return a pre-order item?

Yes. Pre-order items are eligible for returns under our standard returns policy, provided they meet the return conditions.

Do you offer exchanges?

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or colour, please return your item and place a new order.

How long does delivery take once dispatched?

UK standard delivery typically takes 2–4 working days. International delivery times vary depending on destination and customs processing.

Care & Quality

How should I care for my Pretty Vapid garments?

We recommend washing items inside out on a cold, gentle cycle with similar colours. Avoid tumble drying where possible and use a cool iron if needed.

Are your garments pre-shrunk?

Yes. Our base garments are pre-shrunk to minimise further shrinkage when cared for correctly.

How do your fits run?

Each product page includes fit guidance. If you prefer a looser fit, sizing up is usually recommended. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us before ordering.

What if there’s a fault with my item?

If you receive a faulty item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We’ll assess the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Why do you use a pre-order model?

Pre-order allows us to avoid overproduction, reduce waste and only make what is genuinely wanted. It’s a slower approach, but a more responsible one.

What materials do you use?

We prioritise natural fibres where longevity matters and recycled fibres where they add real value. Specific fabric details are listed on each product page.

What packaging do you use?

We use biodegradable packaging made from plant-based materials wherever possible. Our goal is to minimise plastic without compromising garment protection.

Are you a fully sustainable brand?

We don’t claim perfection. We focus on making better choices where we can and improving as we grow. Sustainability is an ongoing process, not a finished badge.
